I Turn to God

What is it that keeps us from turning to God?

Is it knowing that we can never live up to His standard of perfection? Knowing that no matter how hard we try we still fall short?

What if you were told that to be made righteous in the sight of God is not found in your own works, but in faith (believing God)?

God says in order to be made righteous in His sight we must believe Him. That He has made the way to righteousness.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life!

A city building features a large orange sign with the words 'Jesus Saves' prominently displayed near the rooftop. The structure is urban in style with multiple windows and some greenery visible on terraces. A flock of birds can be seen flying above the building, and branches from nearby trees frame the image.

What do I need to be saved from?

Every person needs to be saved from the penalty of their sins against God.

Romans 3:22-23 says, “For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We all stand guilty before God and separated from Him. Our good deeds can’t get us to God. Our personal moral code can’t pay the penalty for our sins.

Sin is a rebellious moral affront against God; therefore, God is the one who must forgive sin. We are sinners—by birth, by nature, by choice, and by practice. We have a debt to infinitely holy God. He must punish sin, and we deserve punishment.

We need to be saved from the punishment our sins deserve. The Word of God teaches that the wages of our sin is death and eternal separation from God in Hell , where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The good news is that God Himself is the One who does the saving.

God has made the Way!
